Tuesday Format
- Two pairs games 701 up - best of 3 legs. (1 point per game) - Four individual games 501 up - best of 3 legs. (1 point per game) Division Two or Higher: - One four-man team 1501 up - one leg (1 point). Division Three or Lower: - One four-man team 1001 up - one leg (1 point).
A total of eight points can be won per match as a point is awarded to the overall winning team. - Away team throws first on 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th game and where a third leg is necessary in each game the same is applied. Names are to be entered on the result card be both captains before each match commences. Signatures to be completed by the end of the match.
Rules
1. Fixtures may be played before or on designated datebut not after unless adverse weather conditions cause cancellations. This will be the only justifiable excuse. In this event both teams must inform the secreatry or HQ immediately of cancellation and the committee will set a date for re-arrangement which must be adhered to otherwise rule 3(ii) will be applied (concerning claimed fixtures). No fixtures to be played after last date on fixture list unless authorised by the committee (minimum 24 hours notice of cancellations).
2. If a team does not honour its season's fixtures or is expelled before half-way stage - all points will be void; after half-way stage second-half points void, first half intact.Any team that wihdraws without supplying the committee of reasonable cause for such action will only be re-entered at the committee discretion.
3. (i) Minimum of five players to register for a team. Minimum of three to play ona night to constitute a fixture. Registrations may be accepted until the League finalisation date. Thereafter new registrations will only be accepted/considered at committee meetings held at four/five weekly intervals throughout the season, and these should be submitted to the committee. Telephone registrations will not be accepted. The secretary shall then inform the respective teams of confirmation/rejection within 72 hours either in written or verbal form. If an unregistered player is detected all points concerning him/her will be awarded to the opposition. Registrations for Premier teams do not need committee approval. Now new registrations after half-way stage of the season.
(ii) In the Tuesday format should a team appear with three players, one throw per round would forfeit in the four-man leg and one pairs game. An individual game would be awarded to the opposition. A non-appearance on the designated date would result in five points being awarded to the non-offending team (on normal submission of a signed result card) and ZERO points being awarded to the offending team. Less than three players constitutes a non-appearance. If an away fixture team fails to appear in the first half of the season then the second half fixture will be played at the non offending teams venue. Should the team offend a second time, either against the same team or another team, it will be automatically expelled from the League with no monies refunded.
4. Relsult cards to be submitted to HQ (Duke of Wellington, Broadgate) within 72 hours of fixture by winning team. Failure to do so will result in two points being deducted.
5. It is imperative that fixtures should start at 8:15 p.m. Persisitent abusers of this rule will be penalised. Refreshments to be provided please.
6. Pairs & Individual K/O rules will be supplied at each stage of the draw.
7. Licensee/Spouse to register for specific team.
8. A securely fixed wooden or metal OCHE must be used and situated 7 feet, floor level distance from the face of the dart board. The OCHE must be a minimum of 1.5 inches in height and 18 inches in length. Chalk marks or plastic strips will not be accepted. The centre of the bull's-eye to be 5'8" high from the floor. The board must be a proper Lincoln black double board in good playing condition. Adequate lighting and electronic or chalkboard scoring systems must be in use. Failure to supply above playing conditions could jeopardise the licensed house's involvement in the League.
9. Once a person has played for a team in this league he/she cannot transfer for the current season.
10. Any complaints must be made in writing and submitted to the secretary within 3 days of them arising. The committee will then call a representative from each party before it, to explain their case and then vote on a decision.
11. Where the committee presides over a disputes and points of ruling, its decision will be deemed as absolute and final. Any teams that withdraws or is expelled will have no monies refunded.
12. Annual trophies are the responsibility of the respective winning houses. In the event of loss or damage to said trophies that House will be responsible for the repair/replacement cost. Teams/Individuals not represented on Presentation night will forfiet their awards and these will be disposed of as the committee sees fit.
